Wellbeing at Great Bentley for anyone who needs a further boost

As a school, we offer in-school support for children from a practitioner trained in 'Mental Health First Aid'. Teachers are already accessing support for individuals;  however, as a parent, you may feel that your child would benefit from learning strategies to help them reduce anxieties or increase their self-confidence. Maybe you feel they would benefit from having someone to speak to about their concerns/worries in school or perhaps just have someone to talk to that is not emotionally attached to a situation. If you feel your child would benefit from some Wellbeing support, please speak to your child's class teacher or Mrs Eastbrook.

Children's Mental Health week 2025 is due to take place from 3-9 February 2025

During the week of the 3rd - 9th February 2025, we are celebrating Children's Mental Health week and the children will be reminded of the 5 Ways to Well Being in an assembly on Monday.  Children and adults in school will be encouraged to use these to help support their mental health not only this week but beyond. Do take the time to ask your child what they have learnt about 'The Five Ways to Well Being', so we can spread the good word on how to keep our minds healthy.
